How to Enable Cortana on Windows 10?
This is however very easy and not much time consuming. But, you are supposed to have valid internet connection in order to activate or enable Cortana on Windows 10 Technical Preview. When you first time open the Windows, the search box would be looking like this,
Just click on this search box to get started. After clicking the on the default search box, you will get a screen that looks as follows,
To work with Cortana, you must have to permit it to access your Store, Calendar, Contacts, App usage and more other things what are included in the agreement. Now, you need to sign in with your active Microsoft account.
If you have already added Microsoft account in your Windows 10 machine, you may not have to do this again. However, if you have not signed in with any Microsoft account, this is mandatory for you. Therefore, click the “Sign In” button and enter your Microsoft account details.
After signed in, you will have to migrate from local account to Microsoft account. Just hit the “Switch” button to do so.
Now, you’re almost done. The next thing is to set up your Name so that Cortana can call you. To enter your name, just click on the empty box and write down you name.
Then click the “Enter” button. That’s it. You have done. A screen will be appeared that looks like this.
Now, you can do anything with Cortana. You can search for anything offline or online. You can send email, get email, open any settings or do anything whatever you want.
