- Click on the Change View button.
- Select the Compact option.

First, you need to open the Outlook app on your computer. No matter where the app is, you can open it using the Taskbar search box. Once it is opened, you need to switch to the View tab.
Here you can find an option called Change View. You need to click on this option.
Next, select the Compact option.

However, this process is a minor setback. As Outlook allows users to set different views for different folders, following the aforementioned steps will apply the change to the current folder only.
